halloween love.
oh, brooke + dave!
i love love loved everything about this session (and it wasn’t *just* because they gave me a bag of candy!) – it was because this couple is so cute and so fun! i can’t imagine a better way to spend a rainy fall afternoon than running around town with brooke + dave…they are so happy together and a little rain didn’t bother them at all! besides, dave proposed in the pouring rain in costa rica, so it was kind of fitting for them…plus, i carry an arsenal of hugemongous umbrellas so i had us covered ;)
georgetown was abuzz preparing for halloween festivities, and it was such an awesome feeling to be doing our own sweet thing in the middle of the chaos – yay for engagement photos on halloween!

Thanks, Jaime! We had so much fun! And now we get to tell our kids that the “First Contact” photographer took our engagement pictures!
Oh, and two things:
1. I’ve been dreaming of that strawberry cupcake…
2. Dave and I saw an actually dead rat on the sidewalk in our neighborhood this weekend, which brings our dead/dying rat count to two in two weeks…gross.

i keep *forgetting* about the rat incident at the canal…perhaps because the photos are so killer from that spot! i block it out of my memory ;)
