baby chase, 9 weeks.

hello (again!) baby chase! just a few weeks ago i met chase for the first time when he was just 5 weeks old! he was cute as could be, but sleepy and hungry during our session! i captured some serene photographs but wanted a little more action, so i popped back over last week for a quick visit and was amazed at how much he had changed! in just a few weeks his little lips are so full, his eyelashes are gorgeously long (aren’t they always on little boys?) and he was far more interested in my camera than before. he grinned and pouted, laughed and yawned, and passed out right at the end…as if on cue :)

i had the pleasure of meeting the lovely little gracyn (and her big sister kimsey!) yesterday morning – she was so tiny and so alert – i simply loved her! more to come from this happy beautiful family soon…

joe + sean’s wedding was a truly fabulous affair – an intimate ceremony and a killer reception at the chicago illuminating company followed by a tour of the city aboard a double decker bus and an after party that wouldn’t quit! many more photos to come…enjoy this sneak peek – i LOVE the image below, taken just after they tied the knot!

i am *so* excited to be in chicago this weekend documenting sean + joe’s wedding. the festivities began last night to celebrate sean’s birthday (on their amazing roof deck with amazing views of the city!) and will continue through sunday! i’ll be back in dc next week with images from knoxville + chicago and then im headed to vegas for a *very* exciting surprise wedding! woo!
