yesterday i met two absolutely wonderful couples, continuing my tradition of celebrating halloween by photographing love! i spent the afternoon chatting with leigh + mark (below) about their upcoming wedding next spring and couldn’t help snapping a quick photo of their cuteness before heading to my engagement session with brooke + dave (above!) in georgetown. it was a rainy fall day, but i was totally feeling the love and i am so happy to have met both of these couples! stay tuned for more from brooke + dave’s session as well as a forthcoming engagement session with leigh + mark!

anna rose: baptism!

this past weekend i had the pleasure of documenting anna rose’s baptism at st. mary’s church in annapolis, maryland. st. mary’s is truly stunning and it was a beautiful ceremony. anna rose was perfectly serene, taking it all in and looking delightful in her fabulous little gown! afterwards they had an intimate lunch at maria’s with family + friends.

i loved seeing anna rose – she already looks so different from just a few months ago at her newborn session! i feel so lucky to be able to photograph this amazing family and be a part of their lives and most important moments!

jen + wayne: engaged!

jen + wayne are engaged!

last thursday was the most gorgeous fall day, absolutely perfect for a photo session! we started in their neighborhood near the national cathedral and made our way down to georgetown to the bustling action of m street as well as the serenity of the canals. jen + wayne are sweet, funny, smart, and totally in love – i really enjoyed spending the afternoon with them and watching them interact with each other. they were up for anything and took me to some of their favorite spots for super cute photos. they have great energy and i *loved* watching them dance and jump around in the alleys, their shadows bouncing around behind them…so fun!

dinner party @ the dupont hotel.

fact: ted gibson + mary amons know how to throw a party.

thursday night i swung by hotel dupont to snap some photos of one of my favorite clients – ted gibson! it is almost impossible to find anyone that exudes as much good energy as ted gibson and everyone was in the absolute best spirits for his gorgeous dinner party co-hosted by mary amons, founder of the district sample sale and labels for love.
