jennifer tress: headshots!
hello chinatown!
jennifer tress is fabulous.
and while there are many other words that describe jen – funny, sassy, talented, expressive, gorgeous, smart – the first word that comes to mind is always fabulous. i was so thrilled when she asked me to do a session for her to commemorate the work of her first book. she forwarded me the first few chapters and i *love* it – funny, poignant memoirs that made me laugh out loud and totally fall in love with her. as a result, our session was nothing short of absolutely fabulous and incredibly fun. we hit the streets of chinatown for a spontaneous lifestyle-type headshot session and got the most amazing images! and since jen is *fabulous* the shots are so fun, so full of her expressive personality, and even include a few strangers who wanted some camera time with this soon to be *very famous* author. stay tuned for info on her forthcoming collection of short stories! enjoy!

i can’t imagine a better way to kick off 2009 than yesterday’s wedding! these newlyweds are headed to new zealand tomorrow and i just wanted to share the last shot of the night as they exited the tabard inn! more to come from this fabulous celebration- stay tuned!

sweet escape.
aruba is fabulous.
from the white-sand beaches with abundant + friendly wildlife to the bustling downtown with amazing restaurants and colorful action, it was a delightful way to spend a few days. after reveling in the hot sun and the cool caribbean, we rented a car to explore the “other” side of the island – amazed at its wild, rocky terrain and the deserted, almost wicked, wind-swept northern coast.

i just returned from a fabulous escape to the lovely island of aruba…5 days of lounging in the sun, eating amazing food, reading, relaxing, and being 100% blackberry free for the very first time ever! needless to say, it was fantastic! more photos to come…

as you may have noticed it’s been a very busy last couple of months at blonde photo and to celebrate my birthday (yay!) i’ve decided to run off to the caribbean for some much needed r&r — i simply can’t wait to explore the fabulous island of ARUBA! i’ll be back next week well rested, fantastically tan, and with some gorgeous photos…of course!
